Art inspired from
The Osterøy Museum,
Gjerstad, Norway

For this series, I have been researching the textile collection of the Osterøy Museum in Gjerstad, Norway. These prints are inspired by the bringeduk portion of the Norwegian bunad folk costume.  These works will be included in my solo exhibition at the Osterøy Museum from May 31- Aug 13, 2023.

American Swedish Institute Research

This series of Scandinavian inspired works were created for my solo exhibition at the American Swedish Institute in Minneapolis, MN. Utilizing ASI's textile collection as a source for the work, I have redesigned new patterns and imagery that have been translated into papercuts and then printed. These works were on view April - June 2021 exhibition at the American Swedish Institute.

Public Art Installation

The images below represent swedish bobbin lace patterns that have been redesigned for outdoor installation. The bobbin lace patterns have been translated into large stencils for the outside gates and fences of the American Swedish Institute. I also created a projection mapping experience that goes along with the outdoor installation as seen below.
